From early accounts of bat-and-ball games played in colonial Virginia to Nutzy and the Richmond Flying Squirrels, baseball has long been a part of Virginia history and culture. We’ll go behind the scenes to look at memorabilia, jerseys, equipment, photographs, and baseball cards. With topics ranging from little league to professional teams and all-star icons from Babe Ruth to Justin Verlander, we’ll round them all to explore Virginia’s national past time.
