The internship will expose the student to various aspects of historical research and interpretation and allow him or her to interact with the society’s varied constituencies. The opportunity brings with it an introduction to best practices in the field of public history and museum education. The internship is open to college undergraduates, including incoming freshmen. The intent of the program is to provide the student with hands-on experience in line with his/her professional interests.  Please note:  The application deadline for this internship has passed.
