High School Historians Forum: Virginia Teens Though Time

2010 High School scholars take a tour of the Story of Virginia exhibition.

The Virginia Historical Society held the High School Historians Forum (formerly the Wyndham B. Blanton Scholars Forum) from July 18–20, 2012.

This year’s High School Historians explored how young Virginians have shaped the Commonwealth’s history, both in the recent and distant past. While at the Forum, students took part in oral history workshops, developed multimedia content for the VHS, and learned about careers in the field of history.

The 2012 Forum was open to all rising high school juniors and seniors consisted of three day-long programs at the VHS and surrounding area.
