Tax deductibility
Annual fund and membership contributions up to $999 are fully tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. Contributions of $1,000 and above are tax deductible based on benefits utilized.

Other contributions for which no goods or services are exchanged are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The VHS meets the Better Business Bureau of Central Virginia's standards for charitable accountability.
