Witness to a Century

The VHS and the Community Idea Stations have collaborated to produce a television documentary that tells the story of the twentieth century in Virginia through the eyes of centenarians whose lives spanned that entire, tumultuous era. Special invited guests were the remarkable group of interviewees themselves, men and women, African American and white, drawn from across the state. On October 30, 2008, Paul A. Levengood presented a brief introduction of the project. His introduction was followed by the first public screening of "Witness to a Century," scheduled to air in November.
