Memories of World War II
Photographs from the Archives of The Associated Press

In this video, Paul A. Levengood, President and CEO, discusses three images from the exhibition Memories of World War II: Photographs from the Archives of The Associated Press. This exhibition presents 126 black-and-white photographs from the archives of The Associated Press (AP), representing all theaters of the war and the home front, ranging from AP photographer Joe Rosenthal's classic Iwo Jima flag-raising in 1945 to scores of pictures not seen in decades. The exhibition is on display at the VHS from May 8 through August 1, 2010.
