• ON THE COVER: As this issue illustrates, over the summer the Virginia Historical Society was a busy place, inside and out. Two nights a week from May through August our back lawn and parking area hosted the RVA Food Truck Rally. Each Tuesday and Friday evening several hundred people, like Lyric and Donavyn Lewis, took the opportunity to buy food inspired by gourmet chefs, specialty beverages, and desserts from an array of mobile catering vendors. They could also enjoy children's programs brought outside by our education staff and roam our exhibition galleries, which we kept open late.
