A.D. Price Funeral Parlor

Video
In this video, Lauranett Lee, curator of African American history, discusses the A. D. Price Funeral Establishment, one of the oldest African American-owned businesses in Virginia. The hearse is an example of the many black-owned businesses that flourished during a time when segregation kept African Americans from patronizing white businesses.
